Last January FAVILLINI Pharmaceutical Packaging implemented an EyeC Proofiler inspection system that – combined with the Inspection Control on printing lines – improves the quality control standards on printed packagings.

The EyeC Proofiler identifies: color deviations, mis-registers, press contamination, filled in characters, hickeys, poor quality codes and Braille points. Comparing the printed packaging to the file approved, the inspection system provides a deep verification of contents in any languages.

The EyeC Proofiler combines the power of an intelligent software with the performance of a high-resolution scanner. The inspection system digitally compares the scanned samples against the draft approved by the Client (typically a PDF file). The operator can easily check deviations and make sure that the samples’ quality complies with requirements. The inspection is impartial, and reproducible. Results are fully documented for perfect traceability.
