LIVORNO – On March 28th, FAVILLINI Pharmaceutical Packaging received a group of two student classes together with their teachers, from the A.Vespucci School in Livorno. In this occasion, the company made a contribution to RicicloAperto by promoting the recycling practice for paper and paperboard.

“Paper and Paperboard Recycling Month” – 2nd Edition

More than 17k kids participated to many initiatives that took place all over Italy and had the opportunity to experience the paper recycling process.

Experiences like this one are very important because give the kids the opportunity to see what happen to the paper wastes after the recycling process has begun.

One of the main goal for this event is to dispel the myth that “recycling is useless: people use just one bin for all the trash”- this is considered as an excuse for those who are not keen to the recycle.

The event  took place thanks to Comieco (National Consortium for the Recovery and Recycling of Cellulose-based Packaging), Federazione della Filiera della Carta e della GraficaAssocartaAssografici and Unirima with the support of the Ministry of the Environment and Protection of Land and Sea, the Ministry of Economic Development, Anci and Circular Economic Project by Confindustria.

The Comieco President, Amelio Cecchini, sent a thank you letter with the positive feedback from the students to the companies that partecipated to the event.

This is very satisfying and pays off our commitment to the environment in every production process of FAVILLINI Pharmaceutical Packaging.
