Thanks to our collaboration with leading Italian companies, attentive to the search for product performance and respect for the environment, we have always chosen the smartest and most sustainable solutions for our packaging.

Since 2015 we have started testing in the company and adopting cutting-edge products to reduce environmental impact.

As regards the stretch films, which are used to wrap each individual pallet, we preferred a product that would almost halve the plastic weight of each shipment, achieving significant savings thanks to the reduced thickness of the highly performing material. This result, obtained almost 10 years ago, is absolutely in line with the downgauging envisaged by the European standard EN 13428 in which the minimization of the weight and/or volume of packaging is required already in the design phase.

Regarding the pallet covers, we have chosen a product with a minimum thickness and a certified recipe that includes 50% RPE (recycled polyethylene).
The use of end-of-life materials, obviously, allows on the one hand to recover what would otherwise be landfill waste, and on the other significantly reduces the consumption of raw materials and therefore the exploitation of resources.

Finally, we chose an adhesive tape that is not only made with 85% recycled PET, but which also has a lower thickness than standards.
This product that we use to seal boxes has a glue specially designed for corrugated cardboard surfaces and has obtained a certified European patent.

This is our constant commitment to reducing the carbon footprint, one of the best weapons we have in defense of the environment.
